Welcome to Lincoln International Academy of the Holy Family! Thank you for your interest in our school. We hope you find our web site informative and helpful in answering some of your questions.
LIA is a Catholic, coeducational, bilingual institution that offers quality education in the Catholic tradition to families of all backgrounds. LIA follows a United States year calendar and curriculum as well as the Nicaraguan Curriculum Guidelines approved by MECD (Ministerio de Educación Cultura y Deportes). Our faculty and staff provide individualized attention, a challenging academic curriculum, and strong moral guidance. Our students graduate with both the Nicaraguan Bachillerato and the High School Diploma. As of February 2009, we officially became an accredited school by SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) through AdvancED.
Selecting a school that will meet the goals and dreams of both parents and students is a very important step. A school must have the right fit, a sense of being at home. Students must feel comfortable, but challenged; they must excel in academic assignments and also have the opportunity and willingness to participate in extracurricular activities that will allow them to develop their abilities as individuals in their community
Since 1991, LIA has built and nourished a reputation of providing its students a well-rounded education, instilling in them five fundamental pillars: Catholic Identity, Academic Excellence, Democratic Values, English Instruction, and Nicaraguan-Hispanic Culture. One only has to look at our graduates to be immediately convinced that LIA is the place for your children to grow and learn.
