Dear Lincoln Family,
Welcome to our 2010-2011 school year. Our teachers and administrative staff are eager and ready to welcome you to another exciting and memorable year.
As the High School Principal, I thrive on timely, positive, and effective communication. My door will always be open to students, parents, and teachers in pursuit of a solid, enthusiastic, and rewarding learning experience.
This year, one of our goals is to make the most of the wonders of technology in the classroom for the benefit of our students’ learning. To accomplish that, our school has completely remodeled its classrooms to accommodate overhead projectors, teachers’ laptops, and modern desks for the use of those High School students willing to bring their own.
Technology will not only be another course required for students at Lincoln, it will also be applied and fully integrated into our curriculum. That is, subjects like Math, Science, English and others will be learned and practiced on the web, with modern programs, and with many other technological resources. Internet safety and productivity will be closely monitored by our teachers.
I trust that with the guidance of God, we will help our students attain, not only their academic goals, but also the joy that comes with becoming better citizens and the leaders of tomorrow.
May the faith be with you!
Roberto Porta Córdoba
High School Principal
